H-E-B Adds Fourth DFW Metroplex Store In Allen, TX

H-E-B Allen

H-E-B has opened the doors at its Allen store, the fourth location it has opened in Texas’ DFW Metroplex in the past year.

The 117,000-square-foot H-E-B Allen store has features such as a True Texas Barbecue restaurant, full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru and Home by H-E-B home décor department, featuring furniture, woven textiles and accent pieces from the Haven + Key and Texas Proud collections.

The store also offers H-E-B Curbside and Home Delivery, which allows customers to place orders online for pickup at the store or home delivery. These digital services give customers choices on how they shop, pay for and receive their products.

“We’re excited that our H-E-B Allen store is now open to serve customers in this growing area with top-quality service and selection,” said Levon Norwood, H-E-B Allen top store leader. “We look forward to serving Allen with a dynamic shopping experience along with the best of H-E-B.”

H-E-B has designed the store to reflect the character of the local community, emphasizing environmental sustainability by incorporating several energy-efficient inclusions, such as CO2 refrigeration units and LED lighting. The site also features native landscaping throughout the property.

H-E-B commemorated the store’s grand opening with a $10,000 donation to the Friends of the Allen Public Library. Donations such as this build upon the company’s support of more than 150 nonprofits and public schools in the DFW Metroplex.

The H-E-B Allen store joins the recently opened Frisco, Plano and McKinney H-E-B locations, as well as six Central Market locations.

Earlier this year, the multi-format retailer announced plans to open two Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B stores in Dallas. These will become the first Joe V’s Smart Shop by H-E-B locations to open outside the Houston area.

Additionally, H-E-B will soon begin construction on stores in Melissa, Prosper and Rockwall. These stores are expected to open in 2025 and more information will be released at their groundbreakings next year.
