Superior Grocers held its annual foundation golf tournament Sept. 23 at the JW Marriott in Palm Desert, California, marking a milestone with $3.5 million in donations since its inception in 1998.
The Superior Foundation, alongside its vendor partners, raised more than $400,000 during this year’s tournament. The funds will help support vital initiatives in education, music and arts, health and wellness and scholarships.
The Superior Grocers’ golf tournament reception was attended by KTLA’s Sam Rubin, who served as the master of ceremonies, and highlighted the importance of the Superior Foundation’s mission and encouraged attendees to make a difference through their support.
