Save A Lot recently completed store remodels at two South Carolina locations – 917 E. Main St. in Laurens and 410 E N Duncan Bypass in Union.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 4, Dwyane Goodwin, store owner and operator in Laurens, along with the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The next day, Goodwin will hold a separate grand reopening celebration at 11 a.m. for the Union store.
The first 50 customers at both locations will receive a $10 Save A Lot gift card, and have the opportunity for other grocery giveaways. The sites will also have free samples of Certified Hereford Beef.
Customers will notice easier-to-shop footprints that include new décor and lighting, fresh interior and exterior paint and signage.
The remodels are part of the brand’s efforts to modernize stores across the country. Through the initiative, the company is working with its independent license owners to renovate stores.
Their designs feature a contemporary evolution of the Save A Lot brand inspired by customer and employee feedback. Each features a large assortment of regional products.
“I am thrilled to bring much-needed upgrades to [these stores] and enhance local residents’ shopping experiences the moment they step foot inside,” Goodwin said.
“The newly minted store provides a modern aesthetic and an easier-to-shop footprint, making it seamless and more enjoyable for customers to shop for grocery essentials and quality fresh meat and produce they’ve come to expect.
“I’m especially proud to be bringing Certified Hereford Beef to this area. It’s the gold standard of beef and I can’t wait for our customers to try it.”
Mark Kotcher, SVP of sales and marketing officer, said Save A Lot is pleased with the store renovations in South Carolina.
”We’re delighted that [these stores are] continuing to provide customers with top-notch service and an upgraded shopping experience,” he said.
“Dwayne Goodwin’s investment to upgrade [these stores] will have a profound impact on how customers enjoy the Save A Lot experience while continuing to provide unmatched value and quality.”
