To mark the recent renovation of its store at 2626 Portland Ave. in Louisville, Kentucky, Save A Lot is offering customers two months’ worth of coupons on favorites like fresh-cut meat and other grocery essentials.
“My team and I are thrilled to bring much-needed upgrades to the Portland Ave Save A Lot store and enhance local residents’ shopping experiences the moment they step foot inside,” said Woody Woodruff, store director.
“At a time when other businesses are moving out of this community, my family and I are proud to be the only independent, full-service grocery store here…the Kute family has been a part of the Louisville community for more than 70 years and we’re excited to show our appreciation for our customers with this remodel.”
Founded in 1977, Save A Lot is one of the largest discount grocery store chains in the U.S., with some 800 stores in 32 states.
Part of the company’s efforts to work with its independent license owners to modernize stores across the country, the remodel reflects a new brand image, featuring an easier-to-shop footprint with new décor and signage, as well as fresh interior and exterior paint. In addition, each remodeled store boasts an assortment of regional products.
Save A Lot has recently held several grand openings for remodeled stores, including locations in Perryopolis, Pennsylvania; Carlisle, Kentucky; MacClenny and Cross City, Florida; and several other locations in the Chicagoland area.
“We’re delighted the Portland Avenue Save A Lot store is continuing to provide its customers with top-notch service and an upgraded shopping experience with the new store remodel,” said Mark Kotcher, SVP of sales and marketing.
“The Kute family’s investment to upgrade the store will have a profound impact on how customers enjoy the Save A Lot experience.”
