Haverhill, Massachusetts-based Cedar’s Foods, a family-owned natural and organic brand, has unveiled a new look and feel for its hommus packaging labels.
Company founders Abe and Layla Hanna created what they believed to be the perfect hommus – spelled with an “o” – was made. They made it the traditional way, with pure ingredients and a simple process.
Inspired by the Mediterranean’s sunny landscapes, the product line features Cedar’s green lid with bolder colors, ingredient photography and updated typography across the entire portfolio.
The brand’s Tzatziki line, for example, now has a photography-driven look that incorporates typography and color choices from the overall brand line.
Aimee Tsakirellis, EVP of marketing, said in a statement that the company is pleased with the reimagined look, which “puts a spotlight on the natural and organic ingredients we use in our products.”
“The brand has grown exponentially since launching more than 40 years ago and as the now No. 2 hommus brand in the U.S., we’re excited to usher in a new era while honoring our familial roots.”
Cedar’s Foods’ lineup features natural and organic products, including hommus, tzatziki, dips and spreads. It shares authentic Mediterranean foods by using recipes that have been handed down from generations.
