Cincinnati-based The Kroger Co. is featuring several bakery items customers can use to celebrate America’s birthday, from desserts decorated with stars and stripes to cheesecake and cookies.
The grocer also has ice cream and other novelties, such as popsicles. For a family-friendly July Fourth activity, the retailer recommends trying the no-bake desserts with seasonal fruits.
“[The holiday] is a time to gather with friends and family over backyard barbecues, roasting s’mores around a fire and watching fireworks light up the night sky,” Tom Duncan, VP and head of marketing, said in a statement.
“No matter how you choose to celebrate, Kroger is grateful to play a part in so many gatherings to help our customer’s honor the holiday.”
