Company officials say Stavis Seafoods’ move to 1 Seafood Way in the Boston seaport will incorporate the latest technological advancements to revolutionize seafood production, with the assistance of the engineering team of its parent company, Profand Group.
“We are thrilled to embark on this exciting new chapter in Stavis Seafoods’ storied history,” said CEO David Lancaster.
“Our relocation…represents a significant investment in our future and underscores our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our business. This new facility will empower us to expand our operations, maintain rigorous quality standards and reinforce our position as a trailblazer within the seafood industry.”
Stavis Seafoods has been a provider of seafood products in the New England seafood industry since 1929. The technologies to be implemented in the processing facility will prioritize environmental conservation and adhere to high industry standards.
“I would also like to extend my gratitude to Massport for working diligently with us to find a solution that keeps Stavis Seafoods in the Boston Waterfront Seaport district; our home for nearly 100 years,” Lancaster said.
“Massport’s continued commitment to the Seafood Industry is a tremendous support.”
