Lakeland, Florida-based Publix recently opened two new stores in Florida.
The grocer opened a location in the Merganser Commons at Dogwood Estates in Milton, Florida. The 46,811 square-foot store offers departments for grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat and fresh produce as well as a full-service bakery, deli and pharmacy.
“We are excited to bring Publix to our neighbors in Milton,” said Hannah Herring, media relations manager. “We look forward to providing premier service and quality products to new and existing customers, many whom will now enjoy having their Publix closer to home.”
The grocer also opened a 53,785-square-foot store at the Shoppes of Cutler Bay in Cutler Bay, Florida.
“We are excited to welcome our customers to the new store at the Shoppes of Cutler Bay and look forward to providing them with the premier service and quality Publix is known for,” said Lindsey Willis, media relations manager, Publix Miami Division.
Each of the stores has a pharmacy with a drive-thru, a large variety of seafood and meat, an extensive bakery with more self-service options made from scratch and a full-service deli department offering Boar’s Head meats and cheeses.
Publix provides contactless pay options and convenient services like grocery delivery, powered by Instacart, and pharmacy delivery. The store will also feature a centralized pick-up option at the front of the store to make picking up online orders faster.
