Tops Friendly Markets is celebrating the grand reopening of its location at 3507 Mount Read Blvd. in Greece, New York.
This store serves a cross population of the community, with convenient access to Lake Ontario, local schools, parks, Greater Rochester International Airport and The Seneca Park Zoo.
This renovation marks the 27th location recently updated with a new look and a renewed focus on fresh departments.
Tops will cut the ribbon on this multi-million-dollar renovation project on Nov. 1. The store will offer new, enhanced services, an expanded assortment of products and an enlarged fresh perimeter with new updated décor.
This store has been refreshed from top to bottom, including new exterior paint with awnings, landscaping, energy efficient equipment and LED lighting both inside and out, solar powered efficiencies, new flooring, bottle redemption center, expanded state-of-the-art self-check outs, renovated restrooms and new interior décor.
One of the additions is the new Starbucks Cafe located inside the store.
“Having a Starbucks Coffeehouse in-store for our shoppers enhances their overall shopping experience,” said Jeff Culhane, SVP of merchandising. “The state of the art design will entice shoppers to try the wide array of offerings that Starbucks enthusiasts love.”
Dave Williams, store manager, said he and his team are working hard to make life easier for their shoppers by focusing on easy-to-prepare meal options, as well as providing some new additions. “When it comes to freshness, convenience and variety, you’ll find everything here at your newly remodeled Greece store, and with all of the inspiring products – including a wider selection of domestic and imported cheeses, fresh sushi prepared daily, healthy hydration, custom cut meats by real butchers and an expanded floral department – guests are sure to enjoy all we have to offer.”
Consumers will have the chance to win prizes such as $1,000 in Tops gift cards for food and fuel, a Bristol Mountain Ski Resort Family Prize Pack and a Rochester Amerks Family Night Prize Pack.
Tops is also a supporter of products grown by New York State farmers who adhere to the New York State Grown and Certified program’s requirements, which includes verification of safe food handling practices and participation in environmental sustainability programs.
The store’s remodel also includes the pharmacy with a new waiting area which provides a wide variety of services to the community seven days a week. Tops offers a number of immunizations including COVID-19 booster shots, shingles, influenza and flu shots, and the newest pneumonia vaccination. Tops is also an authorized administer of the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles’ vision test and provides low prescription prices with more than 3,000 insurance plans and with the GoodRx app.
The Greece Tops store will be making $1,000 donations to each of the following local groups for their support of the community: American Legion Post 468, Greece Central School District Community Schools, Greece Ecumenical Food Shelf, Greece Police Department, Lakeshore Community Church, Ridge Road Fire District and United Through Healing and Hope of Monroe County.
