Blandon, Pennsylvania-based Giorgio Fresh Company has named Bryan Shelton as VP of sales and marketing. He will be responsible for sales team leadership, marketing and business strategy.
Shelton is a CPG industry leader that brings more than 20 years of experience, leading sales teams at Kellogg, Pinnacle Foods and Del Monte Foods.
Most recently, Shelton held a leadership role at Del Monte Foods, where he was responsible for the sales organization in the West, overseeing sales strategy development and execution and leading innovation of new categories. He has a proven record of facilitating long-term business goals with customers and industry luminaries.
“Bryan is highly experienced, forward and strategic thinking; we are fortunate to have him lead our sales and marketing efforts in the future,” said Joe Caldwell, president of Giorgio Fresh.
“His track record of building high-performing sales teams coupled with his extensive experience in packaged foods will be advantageous to Giorgio as we continue to prioritize innovation.”
Assisting with the transition into this leadership position, Greg Sagan, EVP of sales and marketing, will be working together with Shelton. “Greg’s leadership, dedication and expertise have been momentous in our company’s success,” Caldwell said. “As Greg transitions toward retirement, we look forward to Bryan’s new approaches to leading the Giorgio Fresh sales team.”
