Cardenas Markets has announced that grand opening festivities are well underway for its recently acquired store locations in San Bernardino, Perris, Riverside, Fontana and Chino, California.
On the respective dates below, Cardenas Markets will hold grand opening festivities for each location with live mariachis, ballet folklorico dancers, radio remotes and prize giveaways.
- Oct. 12 – 25745 Base Line St., San Bernardino, California;
- Oct. 19 – 460 E. 4th St. Perris, California;
- Oct. 19 – 9001 Mission Blvd., Jurupa Valley, California;
- Oct. 26 – 116747 Cherry Ave., Fontana, California; and
- Oct. 26 – 5832 Riverside Dr., Chino, California.
Each location has undergone an extensive remodel in preparation for the opening celebrations. Cardenas’ produce department features an assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables from the U.S. and Latin America while the meat department has expanded its varieties of meat, beef, pork, chicken and seafood.
The store has added an authentic Mexican Cocina where people can purchase carnitas, tamales, taquería classics and other daily deal options. It also has a tortilleria featuring authentic corn and flour tortillas made from scratch, in addition to masa made by utilizing traditional Nixtamal technique.
Cardenas Markets operates a total of 52 stores under the Cardenas Markets banner, seven stores under the Los Altos Ranch Markets banner, five stores under the Rio Ranch Markets banner and one store under Cardenas Ranch Markets banner. Cardenas Markets is one of the largest Hispanic grocery chains in the country with stores in California, Nevada and Arizona.
