Sylmar, California-based Vallarta Supermarkets has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals with its annual balloon fundraiser campaign through Sept. 30. This is the 12th year the company participates as a partner to the Children’s Miracle Network.
All funds raised go to each store’s local corresponding Children’s member hospitals. Whether that means providing care to children without insurance, investing in research, or offering patient services that comfort families and provide peace of mind.
“Vallarta believes in supporting the communities where our stores are located, we’re proud to continue the partnership with Children’s Miracle Network again this year,” said Lizette Gomez, director of marketing for Vallarta Supermarkets. “We encourage our customers to participate in our balloon fundraiser campaign. Every dollar raised will help heal and save local kids.”
Local hospitals participating in the fundraiser include Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, Children’s Hospital Central California, Cottage Health System, Children’s Hospital Orange County and Rady Children’s Hospital.
The Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raises funds for 170 children’s hospitals that support the health of 10 million kids each year across the U.S. and Canada. Donations go to local hospitals to fund critical life-saving treatments and healthcare services, along with research, pediatric medical equipment, child life services during hospital stays and financial assistance for families who could not afford health services.
