East Syracuse, New York-based Dumac Business Systems has appointed Michael Kress to its board of directors. He serves as Dumac’s VP of major accounts.

Kress has more than 30 years of experience in the grocery, convenience, fuel, retail and hospitality industries, focused on providing technology solutions and business development. His career in retail technology began in 1987 as a college intern with NCR, where he continued in several positions of increasing responsibility.
Kress’ career at NCR earned him many awards for top sales in major accounts. He opened Retail Data Solutions, an NCR Reseller office in Oklahoma in 1991. Retail Data Solutions merged with Dumac in 2014. Kress has also served on several industry boards, including for the RSPA from 2001-07 and on the NCR Advisory Board.
