SpartanNash celebrated the opening of its newly remodeled Knapp’s Corner D&W Fresh Market Aug. 10. Located at 2022 Apple Orchard Ave. NE in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the D&W Fresh Market grocery store has been upgraded to feature a modern look and provide a better shopping experience.
The renovated store features more than 160 local brands, offering various products from Michigan-grown mushrooms to Bell’s Brewery items. The store will also offer artisan sandwiches and paninis, expanded specialty offerings of cheese, crackers and charcuterie, 23 varieties of sushi and an extensive wine collection for customers.
“At SpartanNash, we strive to deliver the ingredients for a better life, and a big part of achieving that goal is making sure that we provide the highest quality and best variety of products within an enjoyable shopping environment,” said Tom Swanson, EVP and general manager, corporate retail.
“D&W Fresh Market is a well-respected brand in West Michigan and these new store upgrades, services and exclusive offerings are a way of thanking our community for trusting us as their go-to store.”
The store remodel introduced an updated color scheme, clear signage and refreshed store layout. To celebrate, the D&W Fresh Market team hosted a community event with ribbon cutting and is offering a variety of deals for current and new shoppers.
