Columbus, Ohio-based Jeni’s Ice Cream has launched a rewards program, Jeni’s Splendid Rewards.
Customers can earn one point for every $1 spent and can receive $5 in rewards for every 100 points. The company is also offering a free scoop of ice cream on birthdays and customers can get bonus points for referring others to join the program.
Jeni’s has hinted that more perks are in the works, including early access to new flavors, members-only giveaways and events. The company held its first rewards perk — a free scoop for all members on June 21, the first day of summer.
For now, points can be earned and redeemed only at Jeni’s scoop shops nationwide. The company is planning on expanding the program in the coming weeks.
