Greensboro, North Carolina-based The Fresh Market will honor Memorial Day with deals and discounts for active and retired military veterans.
The grocer will celebrate and honor both active and retired military personnel by offering a one day only 10 percent discount off the total purchase, excluding alcohol and gift cards, on May 30. This discount is valid with the showing of a military I.D.
The Fresh Market stores will include a free hand-decorated patriotic cookie in every curbside order picked up on Memorial Day while supplies last.
The grocer will also be offering a ready-to-eat Memorial Day picnic feast, featuring an alfresco meal.
The $49.99 meal for four people includes meat and cheese pinwheels, caprese pinwheels, charcuterie tray, The Fresh Market assorted entertainer crackers, tropical fruit tub and a dessert bar sampler tray.
For those who want other options, the grocer will offer specials all week on specific items, like baby back ribs, tomahawk steaks and wild Alaskan King Salmon.
The Fresh Market will also feature recipes for sides, treats and tips online within the grocer’s magazine.
