Lubbock, Texas-based Texas Fresh Food Brokers has hired Jason Steen, a long-time meat executive with the United Family of Stores, as senior business manager.
Steen worked for United for 28 years in various positions, including one of his last roles as business manager of meat and seafood before moving over to the grocery team.
“Jason’s reputation, knowledge of the industry, creativity and longstanding relationships will prove to be a great asset to the Texas Fresh team and for the companies we represent. We are excited for what he can bring to the table for our retail partners as well,” said Kurt McMillan, president of operations at Texas Fresh Brokers.
He is active in his church and loves spending time with his wife and three children while traveling and enjoying anything outdoors.
