Gainesville, Virginia-based Forever Oceans, an innovator in sustainable seafood, has announced Ashley Jean-Pierre as the company’s first chief people officer.
The appointment comes as Forever Oceans has begun to build out its production capacity and enters a new growth phase following the concession for sustainable aquaculture in Brazil. Jean-Pierre will be reporting to Bill Bien.

Jean-Pierre has 15 years of experience in leading all aspects of human resources management and brings a passion for leading change, creating employee-first cultures, and in developing teams. Most recently, Jean-Pierre served as VP of human resources at Fidelis Cybersecurity, Inc., where she helped lead the company’s successful spin off from General Dynamics. Fidelis is a global company with employees in Israel, Germany, Middle East and the United Kingdom.
Jean-Pierre has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
