The Global Cold Chain Alliance has announced several executive and staff promotions.
Brian Lynch will now serve as EVP of business development and executive director of the controlled environment builders association; James Rogers will serve as VP of business development; Katie Sastre will serve as manager of business development; and Madison Jaco will serve as manager of international programs.
“Each of these individuals has played a significant role in the growth of GCCA and enhancement of our programs and services for our members across the globe over the past 18 months,” said Matthew R. Ott, GCCA president and CEO. “I look forward to continuing to work with all of them on our efforts to support GCCA’s core partner organizations and the cold chain industry.”
Lynch joined GCCA in July 2020 as SVP of business development and led efforts to enhance member value through the addition and enhancement of programs and events in North America. In his new role, he will add international business development responsibilities and will serve in a newly created role as CEBA executive director.
In that role, he will work closely with the GCCA president and CEO and CEBA Board of Directors on the development of strategy and growth initiatives benefiting members in the controlled environment construction, design and building segment.

Rogers has been with the organization for 14 years, serving in numerous membership, marketing and business development roles. He most recently served as senior director of business development.
In addition to these executive promotions, GCCA has also added two new staff members.
Lydia Barr has joined GCCA as coordinator of education and programs and will report to Lynch. Barr served in event, programming and communication roles at the TRSA ,the Association for Linen, Uniform and Facility Services Industry and American Society of Human Genetics.
Ecaterina “Kate” Leonova joins GCCA as finance coordinator and will report to GCCA CFO Omizak Kadirbergenov.
Comprised of its core partners, including the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses, the World Food Logistics Organization, the International Refrigerated Transportation Association and the Controlled Environment Building Association, the Global Cold Chain Alliance represents all major industries engaged in temperature-controlled logistics.
