The Cardenas Markets Foundation continues to support the communities it serves by providing $177,000 in scholarship funds to local students. Applications are being accepted now.
In sum, 59 scholarships of $3,000 each will be awarded for the 2022 academic year, which reflects a $1,000 increase from the 2021 academic year.
Recipients will be selected based on their academic qualifications, financial need, leadership attributes and commitment to serving their local community.
“The Cardenas Markets Foundation is committed to helping students advance their educational goals,” said Adam Salgado, president of the Cardenas Markets Foundation. “We understand that the cost of tuition and fees continues to increase year over year, and it’s becoming increasingly challenging to cover these rising costs. We are pleased to step-in and help defray some of these costs for our future leaders.”
