San Diego, California-based Bumble Bee Seafood Co. has added veteran sales executive Laura Chamberlain to the senior leadership team at the 120-year-old seafood company.
As the SVP of sales, she will be responsible for positioning Bumble Bee as a best-in-class partner for retailers across all channels while continuing to grow the shelf-stable seafood category.
Chamberlain joins Bumble Bee with more than 25 years of experience working across CPG sales organizations, including Danone North America, The Hershey Co. and Clorox. Chamberlain was acknowledged by Target for “Best in Class Partnership” for her work on behalf of Danone.
“As seafood continues to grow in popularity, we recognized a need to add incremental sales strength to our team,” said Connie Cooper Shepherd, SVP of strategy and business development for Bumble Bee. “Laura’s background driving long-term sales growth strategies for major CPGs will be vital in moving our brand portfolio forward as we continue to develop and grow our retail partnerships and positively impact consumers.”
