Frankford Candy is expanding its assortment of hot chocolate bombs to include three new flavors – salted caramel, peppermint and double chocolate. The new items join returning holiday favorites such as the Fruity Pebbles Candy Snowman and the Krabby Patties Sliders and will be available at retailers nationwide for a limited time.
“According to a 2020 National Confectioners Association survey, 91 percent of Americans celebrate the winter holidays with chocolate, and 78 percent of people say that sharing and gifting seasonal chocolate is a great American tradition,” said Molly Jacobson, director of business development at Philadelphia-based Frankford Candy. “Our new and returning seasonal treats are perfect for a festive holiday pick-me-up, for a stocking stuffer or simply to enjoy with family and friends.”
New Frankford Hot Chocolate Bomb flavors
The three new flavors joining the lineup with the original Frankford Hot Chocolate Bomb, which was introduced in 2019, are: 
- The Frankford Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Bomb features a salted caramel-flavored Belgian milk chocolate exterior and vanilla mini marshmallows inside;
- The Frankford Peppermint Hot Chocolate Bomb features a peppermint-flavored Belgian milk chocolate exterior and vanilla mini marshmallows inside; and
- The Frankford Double Chocolate Hot Chocolate Bomb features a half Belgian milk chocolate and half Belgian dark chocolate exterior and vanilla mini marshmallows inside.
All four Frankford Hot Chocolate Bomb varieties come in a 1.6-oz. individual size at a suggested retail price of $2.99. The original Milk Chocolate, the Salted Caramel and the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Bomb varieties will be available at retailers nationwide this holiday season, including Target, Walmart, Five Below, Walgreens, CVS, Publix, H-E-B and others, as well as online at Amazon and FrankfordCandy.com. The Frankford Double Chocolate Hot Chocolate Bomb will be available exclusively at Walmart stores.
The original Milk Chocolate, the Salted Caramel and the Peppermint Hot Chocolate Bomb varieties will also be available in a 19.2-oz. 12-count multi-pack at a suggested retail price of $28 online at Amazon and FrankfordCandy.com.
In addition, a 3.7-oz. three-count gift set featuring the original Milk Chocolate, Salted Caramel and Peppermint varieties will be available at a suggested retail price of $6.99 at CVS stores nationwide and online at Amazon and FrankfordCandy.com.
