Fareway will host a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 16 for a new replacement store located at 102 West Anson St. in Marshalltown, Iowa. The new store will open before demolition of the existing store, located at the same address.
The new store provides for everything customers have come to expect of Fareway – the best in fresh, high-quality meat; a full-service butcher counter; farm-fresh produce; low, competitive prices; and the highest level of customer service, including to-your-car carryout.
The new building has more natural lighting and a fresh, updated interior. The location will also offer FastLanes, a self-service checkout option and online shopping and curbside pick-up, available at Shop.Fareway.com.
Mayor Joel Greer; John Hall, Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce president and CEO; and B.J. Van Der Linden, Fareway regional VP, are to speak at the ceremony.
