Reser’s Fine Foods, based out of Beaverton, Oregon, is debuting a new paint scheme for this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Race fans will notice a major departure from their traditional red and black racing look. Martin Truex Jr.’s No.19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota Camry will showcase a #LetsPicnic themed car just in time for a big season of summer picnics.
“Reser’s has been a proud sponsor of racing, good times and enjoying great food for many years. While we know consumers love to share Reser’s deli salads and sides tailgating or table-gating at home, we also know our foods are a traditional part of outdoor picnics and meals associated with good times, family and friends. This paint scheme brings that all together and highlights how our foods are often enjoyed during the summer months. It’s also a great way to remind NASCAR fans who may not be as familiar with our brands of who we are,” said Teresa Carter, director of deli marketing.
“I’m all about enjoying time in the outdoors, and this Reser’s paint scheme reflects that,” said Truex. “I enjoy mixing up the paint scheme from time to time, so this is a fun opportunity to showcase Reser’s in the middle of summer, when people are outside and enjoying time with family and friends whether that is at the track, the lake or anywhere.”
During race day on July 18, fans can join in the fun by posting a picture of their favorite place to have a picnic on Twitter or Instagram and include the hashtag #LetsPicnic to be automatically entered for a chance to win a cooler full of Reser’s products. Social accounts must be public to participate.
The Reser’s #LetsPicnic Toyota Camry will hit the track at 3 p.m. ET July 18 on NBC Sports Network.
