Sprouts Farmers Market at The Market Place in Tustin, California, will host a grand reopening of the newly remodeled store from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. on July 17 at 3011 El Camino Real.
The day will kick off with a ribbon cutting followed by a sample fair where customers can discover new items from top and trending brands throughout the store. All shoppers during the day also will receive a free reusable bag with purchase.
Over the last three months, Sprouts remodeled the store to make it easier for its health-minded and food-centric customers to explore. Enhancements include all-new signage and décor featuring Sprouts’ new branding, an expanded frozen department offering easy, innovative meal solutions with more than 130 additional new items, including plant-based meals and meat alternatives, and an expanded refrigerated section highlighting the latest plant-based foods.
Keeping up the healthy grocer’s focus on offering the latest natural and organic foods, the Tustin store also will feature an Innovation Center showcasing new-to-market, attribute-driven items. Sprouts will regularly introduce exclusive items to this set and throughout the store with its “Find a New Favorite” program.
Each month, shoppers looking to venture out from their grocery list mainstays can look for the program’s icons throughout the store to discover the newest, tastiest foods and supplements that are specially curated with unique flavors and healthy attributes. Along with innovation, the remodeled store focuses on Sprouts’ selection of fresh produce at the center of the store, which includes more than 200 organic varieties every day. The overall design concepts and department layouts at the refreshed store will be expanded with new locations opening in 2022. Learn more about Sprouts growth across the country here.
Store Manager Kevin Chavez joined Sprouts in 2009 as a deli manager and worked his way to lead the Tustin store.
“Sprouts shoppers are engaged and connected to what they eat. I’m thrilled to share our remodeled store with our shoppers so they can more easily make smart and healthy decisions for their families while learning about different products, be it new produce items, seasonal cherry varieties or plant-based meat alternatives,” Chavez said.
The Tustin store will continue to support the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County through the company’s Food Rescue program. Last year, local Sprouts stores donated 55,000 pounds of food, equating to 46,000 meals. The Sprouts Healthy Communities Foundation supports Orange County Coastkeeper’s “Kids Get Growing” project to provide children and families with hands-on gardening and healthy cooking programs. In the 2.5 acre outdoor garden, staff teach the origins of food, encourage healthy decision-making and inspire future generations of environmental leaders.
Headquartered in Phoenix, Sprouts employs approximately 35,000 team members and operates more than 360 stores in 23 states nationwide.
