Kroger’s Atlanta Division has launched a new e-commerce marketplace for local farmers and businesses. This new digital platform connects customers to fresh, local products.

The delivery-only service offers a local assortment by bringing together favorite local vendors – from farmers and bakeries to food artisans.

“Kroger’s new digital farmers market pilot helps our customers support their favorite, local food sellers with the ability to shop local and fresh,” said Felix Turner, manager of corporate affairs for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “This pilot delivery service also reinforces the importance of partnering with local suppliers using cost-efficient, e-commerce solutions.”

The items available on Kroger Farmers Market are exclusive to the service and cannot yet be found at Kroger stores.

“I am so thankful and excited for the opportunity to sell my premium-selected Rabbiteye Blueberries on Kroger Farmers Market,” said Merlon Harper, owner of Deer Creek Farms in Covington, Georgia. “We’ll now be able to serve more customers throughout our community and gain e-commerce learnings to support our future growth.”

Customers in Atlanta can visit krogerfarmersmarket.com to begin placing their orders today.

Initial vendor partners in Atlanta include:

  • 3Bros Cookies;
  • Cui’ Watermelon Drink;
  • Deer Creek Farm;
  • Just Bakery; and
  • Noble Honey.
