America’s original hot dog, Feltman’s of Coney Island, is hitting shelves at nearly 100 new Whole Foods Market locations across the Southern and Southwest U.S., from Texas to North Carolina. This further expands the all-natural hot dog brand’s Whole Foods presence to more than 330 store locations in 30 states coast to coast and marking Feltman’s official retail debut in Texas.

Feltman’s of Coney Island is based in Brooklyn, New York.

Starting this month, Feltman’s 1-lb. six-count Uncured Beef Natural Casing and 1-lb. 10-count Original Skinless Hot Dog Packs will be available for purchase at Whole Foods Markets across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and northern Florida.

In 1867, Charles Feltman invented the hot dog on Coney Island, New York, as a convenient way to enjoy quality sausages on a bun without silverware. Today, as a veteran-owned and operated Gold Star family business – and one of the fastest-growing natural food companies in the U.S. – Feltman’s critically-acclaimed 100 percent natural all-beef hot dogs are inspired by Charles Feltman’s original frankfurter, made with no artificial nitrates or ingredients, and naturally smoked to unleash an explosion of flavorful juices and old world spices with every bite.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding our partnership with Whole Foods Markets and bringing our premium all-natural hot dogs to their quality-conscious customers, and their families, in 11 new states throughout the region,” said Feltman’s of Coney Island CEO Joe Quinn (CPT U.S. Army), who resurrected the legacy brand in 2015 with his brother Michael Quinn, in honor of their late brother who died in the 9/11 attacks.

Under the Quinn brothers’ leadership, Feltman’s of Coney Island began its rapid scale into retail in 2018, and is now the fastest-growing hot dog company in the U.S. Since its initial debut at Whole Foods Markets in January 2020, Feltman’s has nearly doubled its footprint at the national grocery retailer. To date, Feltman’s has experienced 300 percent revenue growth year over year, with its all-natural products now sold at more than 3,400 supermarkets nationwide as well as online at FeltmansofConeyIsland.com.
