Battle Creek, Michigan-based Kellogg Co. has announced the election of J. Michael Schlotman, former EVP and CFO at The Kroger Co., to its board of directors, effective immediately.

Schlotman brings nearly 35 years of grocery experience to the Kellogg Co. Board of Directors and joins in preparation for future director retirements. He served as CFO at Kroger for 19 years and held various positions in corporate accounting since joining Kroger in 1985. He is a member of the board of directors of Connetic Ventures LLC and Ohio National Financial Services. Schlotman is also a member of the Gatton College Accounting Advisory Board.
Kellogg Co. brands include Pringles, Cheez-It, Special K, Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes, Pop-Tarts, Kellogg’s Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, Eggo, Mini-Wheats, Kashi, RXBAR, MorningStar Farms and more. Net sales in 2019 were approximately $13.6 billion, comprised principally of snacks and convenience foods like cereal and frozen foods.
