Nick Lenzi has joined the Warren, Michigan-based Lipari Foods organization in the role of VP of business development. He will be working alongside the Lipari Foods category management team where he will be managing key category projects and assisting in program development.
Lenzi also will utilize his knowledge and marketing strength on Lipari’s private label brand portfolio. Lipari Foods says it is excited to bring additional value to its customers and consumers through his expertise of brand awareness management.
Lenzi began his career in 1980 with VG’s Grocery, holding positions of increasing responsibility until the chain was acquired by SpartanNash. Most recently, he was the SVP of sales and marketing for Busch’s Fresh Food Markets based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. His experience in the retail space will be invaluable to the Lipari Foods organization, the company says.
Lenzi has been married to his wife, Michelle, for more than 33 years and has one son, David. In their free time, the Lenzi family enjoys bike riding, camping and hiking in the Canadian Rockies. Lenzi also has a passion for black water dives in the Cooper River in Charleston, South Carolina, where he has made more than 400 dives.
