Austin, Texas-based Revionics, a provider of retail pricing, promotions, markdowns and advanced analytics solutions, has hired Joshua Oettle as principal product and program manager. As a product leader with a proven track record of shaping and driving strategic initiatives for technology companies, Oettle joins the company with more than 15 years of experience in product development and implementation, having led a number of cross-functional teams that regularly achieved intended project outcomes.
As principal product and program manager at Revionics, Oettle will be responsible for evaluating and executing strategic product programs. He will work closely with product, engineering, data science and executive teams to bring products to market and will define benchmarks and requirements for new launches based on the intended customer experiences with each solution.
“I’m excited to join Revionics to help refine the company’s product development strategy,” said Oettle. “My focus will be partnering with existing teams to advance future product innovation and growth on behalf of our retailer customers.”
“There is growing consensus among retailers today that success in promotional pricing requires customer-centric strategies, so-called personalized pricing,” said Mike Ryan, SVP of science for Revionics. “Our responsive data science framework is the foundation on which we are building this next-generation capability for our customers. We’re pleased to have Joshua Oettle join our team to lead this product innovation, as well as many others, so that our cloud-based SaaS solutions continue to deliver year-over-year ROI to our retailers.”
Oettle joins the Revionics team after more than two years at RetailMeNot, where he served as a senior program manager and then senior product manager. He managed the acquisition and integration of RxSaver, launching scalable sales channels and overseeing key operational processes associated with product and engineering. Oettle also owned the strategic vision and product roadmap execution for all of the company’s digital advertising experiences.
Prior to RetailMeNot, Oettle spent nearly two years with Q2ebanking as a project delivery manager, where he created a project management onboarding program and led a team of project managers to deliver best-in-class product experiences for banking institutions. Oettle also has held implementation and client onboarding roles with Bazaarvoice, training the global team on project management and forecasting tools and rolling out new forecasting models to improve accuracy and reduce manager workload.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and business from Texas Christian University.
