Publix Super Markets will open a new store Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 7 a.m. at the Holland Point Shopping Center in Buford, Georgia.
“Our customers are looking for ways to save time during their busy day,” said Brenda Reid, community relations manager for Publix’s Atlanta Division. “Our new store offers curbside pick-up, online ordering for deli and bakery orders, grocery delivery and a drive-through pharmacy window.”
This will be Publix’s second store in Buford and the 21st store in Gwinnett County. This location will be a 48,100-s.f. store and will bring 120 new jobs to the area. It will be open from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. each day. Pharmacy hours will be 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
The store also will offer the following services: money order sales, money transfers, check cashing, coin counting, recycling and an ATM.
Lakeland, Florida-based Publix is privately owned and operated by its more than 200,000 employees, with 2018 sales of $36.1 billion. Currently, Publix has 1,239 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
