Combining regenerative agriculture and holistic management, Becker, Minnesota-based Thousand Hills Lifetime Grazed is launching its redesigned regenerative label on all of its more than 50 case-ready products.
Third-party certified by the American Grassfed Association, Thousand Hills has approval to add statements on the label noting the benefits regenerative agriculture has on building topsoil, sequestering carbon, improving watershed and re-establishing grasslands.
In addition, the beef company is the first member of Regenerative Rewards, a new B2B retailer rewards program. The program model follows three steps: purchase, submit and redeem. Retailers purchase qualifying products from Regenerative Rewards member manufacturers, submit purchase verification and redeem points for rewards to support its retail operations.
Thousand Hills Lifetime Grazed and Regenerative Rewards are debuting at Expo East in Baltimore, Maryland, Sept. 12-14. The companies are providing educational material, Regenerative Rewards bonus point cards, an interactive photo booth, soil demonstrations and samples of regeneratively raised grass-fed beef products.
