Dover, New Hampshire-based Vera Roasting Co., makers of the only CBD coffee infused with the antioxidant resveratrol, is expanding its line of CBD-infused coffees with the release of a new higher-dosage organic Wellness Blend Coffee containing 300mg of CBD in a 12-oz. bag.

Vera Roasting first launched a resveratrol and CBD-infused coffee in April 2018 with 120mg of CBD per 12-oz bag. Vera Roasting’s introduction of a higher-dosage product will meet a growing demand in the thriving CBD market, which is estimated to reach 20 billion dollars by 2024.
Vera’s Wellness Blend Coffee is made with organic arabica coffee beans specially selected from Guatemala. After the roasting process, Vera’s patented infusion process is used to add CBD and resveratrol to the coffee beans. Depending on the preparation method, the new higher-dosage Wellness Blend Coffee will deliver approximately 10-15mg of CBD per cup.
“CBD is regarded as a relatively stable botanical, but it does lose potency over time, as it degrades,” said Dr. Glen Miller, founder and chief technology officer at Vera Roasting. “The CBD in Vera Roasting’s coffee is protected from premature oxidation by resveratrol, the potent all-natural antioxidant found in red wine that is responsible for the heart healthy properties of both red wine and Vera coffee. Vera’s Wellness Blend is the only coffee with both CBD and resveratrol.”
Dr. Miller, an organic chemist at the University of New Hampshire with more than 25 years of experience, was the first to patent the technology for infusing resveratrol into coffee beans to deliver the benefits of red wine via coffee.
Vera coffee beans are roasted locally in small batches, and all of its roasting blends are infused with resveratrol.
