Lamb Weston Holdings has named Gerardo Scheufler its new SVP and chief supply chain officer. He succeeded Rick Martin, who retired from the role effective Aug. 12.
Scheufler has more than 25 years of supply chain experience, most recently serving as VP of global operations at Mondelez International Inc. There, he oversaw a restructuring program to optimize the global supply chain footprint, including the manufacturing, customer service, quality, logistics, health, safety and environment, and innovation functions. Prior to his role at Mondelez, he spent more than 20 years at Procter & Gamble in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility.
“Gerardo will be a great addition to Lamb Weston and our executive team,” said Tom Werner, CEO of Lamb Weston, headquartered in Eagle, Idaho. “The depth and breadth of his experience leading global supply chain organizations will be an asset to the company as we make progress against our strategic plan. Rick has been a tremendous asset to this company over the last 25 years, and I’m especially grateful for his leadership through the last three years as we transitioned into a stand-alone public company. We wish him well in his retirement.”
Lamb Weston, along with its joint venture partners, is a supplier of frozen potato, sweet potato, appetizer and vegetable products to restaurants and retailers around the world that has been in operation for more than 60 years.
