Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Tattersall Distilling, the award-winning Twin Cities craft distillery, has launched its first Straight Wheat Whiskey. This spirit was made in collaboration with Lunds & Byerlys and will be sold in its 11 Wine & Spirits stores across the Twin Cities.
This marks the first time that Lunds & Byerlys has partnered with a distillery to produce a custom spirit, as well as Tattersall’s first collaboration with a grocery retailer.

The care they take in using the best, high-quality ingredients and the creativity they bring to their final blends aligns perfectly with our expectations and those of our customers,” said Bill Belkin, Wines & Spirits category manager at Lunds & Byerlys. “The wonderfully unique flavor of this whiskey is sure to be a customer favorite.”
Tattersall’s Straight Wheat Whiskey is made from 100 percent Minnesota wheat and aged for over two years in charred Minnesota white oak barrels. The result is an incredibly smooth, easy sipping 90-proof whiskey that really showcases the wheat with subtle undertones of vanilla, nuttiness and caramel. This spirit is best served neat over ice but also works exceptionally well in cocktails.
This is only the second whiskey that Tattersall has released since opening, the other being its flagship Straight Rye Whiskey which is distilled from 100 percent rye, also available in all Lunds & Byerlys Wine & Spirits stores as well as other liquor stores across Minnesota.

Only two barrels of this limited-edition whiskey have been produced.
Straight Wheat Whiskey is now available on shelves in 750 ml bottles at all of Lunds & Byerlys stores across the Twin Cities Metro area for $49.99.
