Redner’s first Fresh Market, located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, will open in the Berkshire Square Shopping Center on Thursday, April 11. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will precede the store’s 8 a.m. opening.
Redner’s Fresh Market, measuring at approximately 54,000 s.f., will feature locally grown produce, farm-fresh meats and dairy products. The store will offer grab n’ go, chef-inspired prepared meals by Executive Chef Tim Twiford, including a signature smoked meat/carved sandwich of the day, fresh sushi and exclusive signature sausage flavors. Guests can choose from cut-to-order meat and seafood available with signature marinades, panko breading or dry rubs. The store has an enlarged bakery with hand-crafted bagels, cannoli’s, tiramisu, eclairs and soft pretzels. Redner’s Fresh Market will feature an expansive breakfast bar with fresh coffee, cappuccino and breakfast sandwiches. Rounding out the new features with this location is a new prepared hot foods and salad bar, store-made infused water, draft beer as a glass or growler, wine-by-the-glass bar and more.
“We are very excited for this next step in evolution of our stores within the company. The additional options of fresh cut produce, hand-crafted baked goods, store-made infused water, draft beer/wine and having our own executive chef’s prepared meals is just the beginning of what we have to offer,” said President and CEO Ryan Redner. “Planning this store and all it has to offer has been a labor of love for our entire team and we can’t wait to unveil it to the community.”
Redner’s Markets Inc., an employee-owned company headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania, currently operates 43 grocery stores and 21 quick shoppes throughout eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
