Listerine is rolling out its largest product launch in years: Listerine Ready Tabs, Clean Mint solid-to-liquid tablets that do not contain mouthwash and freshen breath for up to four hours on-the-go in 40 seconds and three easy steps.
First, chew the tab for 10 seconds to transform the solid tablet to a liquid. Then swish for 30 seconds, then swallow. The tablets are made out of food-grade ingredients and are alcohol-free, so they were specifically formulated to ingest.
“Now consumers can have a whole mouth clean feeling even if they’re not near a sink. We’re changing the way consumers think about their everyday oral care routine with a revolutionary new form that’s completely new to the market, so that we can make their on-the-go lifestyle easier,” said Sissy Urista, senior commercial director for the company.
The tab rollout marks a two-fold milestone for the brand, creating an entirely new category that will disrupt the oral-care industry and unveil a digital-first creative ecosystem.
The tabs are currently available as an 8-pack for $2.99 at all mass food, drug and merchandise market retailers, as well as on Amazon in a 56-count.
Listerine has been defining oral care since 1914, with brand scientists driving research on the many powerful benefits of mouthwash in fighting plaque, protecting gums, building strong teeth and delivering long-lasting fresh breath. The mouthwash has been used by more than one billion people in more than 85 countries and been awarded seals of acceptance by professional dental organizations around the globe. Listerine brand is part of the Johnson & Johnson family of consumer companies.
