Giant-Carlisle Opens Beer & Wine Eatery In Camp Hill, Pennsylvania

Giant's Camp Hill Beer & Wine Eatery

Last updated on June 13th, 2024

Giant Food Stores on June 29 opened its 65th Beer & Wine Eatery in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, becoming the first Camp Hill retailer to offer beer and wine. Last year, Camp Hill residents passed a referendum to allow alcohol sales in the borough.

Giant associates have been working over the last two months to transform the Camp Hill store, located at 3301 Trindle Road, to accommodate the new Beer & Wine Eatery, including relocating seating areas and the nutritionist’s office to accommodate the influx of new products. Camp Hill associates also have completed training programs focused on the expanded beverage offerings to better assist customers.

“We are so excited to open the new Beer & Wine Eatery. It’s a natural fit for our Camp Hill store, and our customers have been looking forward to this day,” said Denny Betson, Camp Hill Giant store manager. “Thanks to all of our associates who worked so hard to get us ready just in time for holiday festivities and summertime celebrations.”

Camp Hill customers will find hundreds of domestic, imported and craft beers coupled with an expanded wine selection in the Beer & Wine Eatery. Customers currently have a “mix-a-six” option where they can create their own six-packs from a variety of craft beers. Customers also can choose from eat-in and take-out selections, including sandwiches, wraps, subs, salads, sushi, Panda Express and a DiBruno Brothers Cheese Shop. The new eatery seats 48 and will be open Monday–Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sundays, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Giant staffers will enforce a 100 percent proof-of-age policy for beer and wine sales. To protect the community, associates will ask for proper identification—a valid driver’s license, passport or military identification card—from any customer seeking to purchase alcohol, regardless of age.

Giant Food Stores more than 170 neighborhood stores In Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia offering home delivery services, online-mobile ordering, fuel centers, pharmacies and in-store nutritionists.
