Whole Foods Market has signed leases for three new 365 formats in Cedar Park, Texas; Cincinnati; and San Francisco. In July, Whole Foods announced new 365 by Whole Foods Market stores in Bellevue, Washington; Houston; Portland, Oregon; Santa Monica, California; and the first 365 store will be in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles. MinuteClinic has opened its first retail clinics in Maine inside CVS/pharmacy stores in Portland and South Portland. MinuteClinic now has more than 1,000 clinics in 33 states and the District of Columbia inside select CVS/pharmacy stores. There are nearly 100 clinics in five New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Clinics are open seven days a week, including during weekday evening hours. Dollar Tree has completed the divesture of 330 stores to Dollar Express LLC, a division of the private equity firm Sycamore Partners. The divesture satisfied a condition required by the Federal Trade Commission in connection with Dollar Tree’s recently completed acquisition of Family Dollar Stores.
