Several food retailers and food companies have made Fortune’s 2015 “100 Best Companies to Work For” list.
Rochester, New York-based Wegmans Food Markets cracked the top 10 at No. 7. Another privately owned grocer, Nugget Market of Woodland, California, placed 26th on the list.
QuikTrip, also a private company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, came in 54th, followed by Austin, Texas-based Whole Foods Market at 55th.
Rounding out the list of grocers and food manufacturers making this year’s list are: General Mills of Minneapolis, Minnesota, at No. 80; Publix Super Markets of Lakeland, Florida, at No. 81; and Mars of McLean, Virginia, at No. 85. Both Publix and Mars are privately owned.
