Laurel Grocery was founded in 1922, when the Chesnut and Griffin families formed a partnership in a warehouse located in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The business grew through the years, and they eventually re-located to the current site in London, Kentucky. Laurel Grocery’s slogan is “Think Retail.” They truly put their customers first and know that their success is a key to the brand’s success.
They pride themselves on their excellent employees. The quality of employees that work at Laurel Grocery is evidenced by the longevity of their employment. There are several employees who have worked there for over 40 years.
