Associated Grocers Inc. celebrated Food Club’s 80th birthday by awarding two customers with a five-minute shopping spree at their local Associated Grocers’ retail member store.
The month-long entry contest culminated with the announcement of the two winners who went on a shopping spree down the aisles of their favorite Associated Grocers store. Food Club is one of the private label brands offered at Associated Grocers member stores. The Food Club brand offers quality, affordable food for shoppers.
The two winning shoppers had 5 minutes to stock their baskets with any of the brands from “Our Family of Brands” line, including Food Club, Crav’n, Simply Done and Sweet P’s throughout their local store.
There were two separate shopping dates with one for each participant:
- Wednesday, February 12:
- Pierre Part Store – 3421 Hwy 70 Pierre Part, Louisiana;
- Winner – Peggy Matherne
- 66 items totaling $467 in free groceries

- Thursday, February 13:
- Audubon Market 5452 Live Oak Centre Dr. St. Francisville, Louisiana;
- Winner – Kaye Pourciau
- 185 items totaling $1,084 in free groceries
