Ahold Delhaize USA and its omnichannel brand, Food Lion, have been named as top employers in the U.S. by the Top Employers Institute, which recognizes organizations that cultivate great workplaces through excellent human resources policies and people practices.

The Top Employers Institute program certifies organizations based on the participation and results of its HR Best Practices Survey, which covers six topics of human resources – people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, inclusion and well-being.

In addition to the Top Employer Index Certification, Ahold Delhaize USA also holds many other designations such as Built-In’s Best Places to Work in the technology sector and the Equality 100 Award from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Also, Ahold Delhaize USA associates are regularly recognized on lists for being women of influence, top women in grocery and industry-leading emerging talent.

Food Lion, one of Ahold Delhaize USA’s brands, also was named a Top Employer in the U.S. by the Top Employers Institute.
Food Lion has more than 1,100 stores across 10 Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states. Through its “Count on Me” culture, the company fosters a sense of belonging for 82,000 employees, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
