Foodtown Of Grand Street Celebrates Opening In Brooklyn

Foodtown of Grand Street

Allegiance Retail Services and co-op member and store owner Nasri Abed held the grand opening for the 10,000-square-foot Foodtown of Grand Street on Oct. 11 in the East Williamsburg community of Brooklyn, New York.

“This new Foodtown location is not just a supermarket. It’s a celebration of East Williamsburg’s rich cultural tapestry, and it offers an extensive range of products from artisanal local goods to international selections,” said Abed, who operates several other Foodtown stores in Brooklyn.

The store’s curated assortment of goods aims to meet the preferences of local residents. Store highlights include organic and natural products, ethnic foods, locally sourced produce and traditional product lines. Shoppers can also find freshly prepared sushi, baked breads, meats and seafood and a large selection of beer.

“We’re thrilled to bring Foodtown to East Williamsburg,” said Joseph Fantozzi, president and COO of Allegiance Retail Services.

“This store represents our commitment to serving diverse communities with a wide range of high-quality products at affordable prices. We believe Foodtown of Grand Street will quickly become an integral part of this bustling neighborhood.”

The new store features designated spaces to showcase weekly and monthly specials. It also has e-commerce options such as Foodtown on the Go.
