Island Pacific Seafood Market has forged a partnership with GCash, the Philippines’ leading financial technology app, that will allow shoppers to send money, pay bills and access other financial services from the grocer’s more than 20 stores across California and Nevada.

GCash, which has millions of users in the Philippines, offers a range of financial services, including money transfers, bill payments and savings in PH banks.

To mark the partnership, Island Pacific customers who download the app and make their first cash-in to GCash by connecting their U.S. mobile numbers and U.S. banks can enjoy exclusive rewards when showing their first GCash transaction to Island Pacific cashiers. They will then receive 500 Island Pacific Bonus Rewards Points to redeem in-store.
