Fareway Stores Inc. hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Sept. 30 for a new 21,000-square-foot store at the corner of State and Oak streets in Granger, Iowa.
“Upon opening, as people enter Granger, they will be greeted by their neighborhood Fareway,” said CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “We are excited to join the Granger community. We want to thank city officials and the property owner for their hard work in making this project possible.”
Site work is set to begin this fall, with anticipated construction completion in 2025.
Fareway will provide customers with fresh quality meat with full-service butcher counters, farm-fresh produce, competitive prices and high-quality customer service, including to-your-car carryout. Additionally, the location will also offer FastLanes, a self-service checkout option and online shopping and curbside pick-up.
