Kroger held a grand reopening for a remodeled store Sept. 11 at 500 Marketplace Blvd. in Forney, Texas, following months of improvements to the site.
The event kicked off a special weekly advertisement featuring exclusive savings through Sept. 17, including 20 cents off per gallon at the store’s fuel center with a Kroger Rewards Card during the weekend of Sept. 13-15.
Kroger celebrated the new Forney store with a ribbon cutting, product samples and other giveaways.
Kroger also gave away items to make the “perfect breakfast” to the first 200 shoppers at the Forney store. Additionally, the company made a donation to Kaufman Christian Help Center in honor of Kroger’s Zero Hunger Zero Waste social and environmental impact plan.
The store has undergone renovations to enhance décor aesthetics with a fresh new look to complement its array of fresh products. Other enhancements include updates to service layout and selections in the bakery, service deli, produce, floral and meat/seafood sections and a grocery aisle reset with the addition of local, natural and healthy selections.
