Randy Munns, EVP and chief operating officer for Festival Foods, has been named the 2024 Grocer of the Year by the Wisconsin Grocers Association.
This award is the highest honor presented by the WGA, recognizing lifetime achievement and exceptional leadership within the grocery industry.
With a career that spans 40 years in the grocery business, Munns has been a driving force behind the growth and success of Festival Foods. Under his strategic leadership, the 78-year-old, family- and employee-owned company will have 42 stores operating throughout Wisconsin by the end of 2024.
His ability to collaborate with multiple generations of leadership has been central in fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
Munns has played a key role in cultivating a family-like culture at Festival Foods, where respect, personal connections and associate development continue to be a focus. His leadership extends to building relationships with vendor partners and creating an environment of trust and collaboration.
