LOC Software has launched ThriVersA, the latest evolution of its back-office and point of sale (POS) solutions.

“LOC Software has taken a measured approach to the cloud,” said CEO Gilles Lapierre. “We listened to our customers and aligned our strategy with their needs and their roadmap for digital transformation.”

ThriVersA represents a new chapter in its journey, building on the foundation in LOC’s previous generation product, Store Management Suite. The name embodies LOC Software’s mission of “Optimizing Retail Performance ” by empowering retailers to thrive through operational and IT management versatility and strategically applied technology.

With ThriVersA, grocery, natural food, convenience, pharmacy and specialty retail stores access the features and functionality they depend on through the cloud. ThriVersA’s modular architecture allows retailers to choose the specific features they need to optimize their business processes. The platform is also designed to enable integrations with third-party applications to extend functionality of their IT systems by leveraging LOC Software’s long-term and growing network of partners.

Browser-based ThriVersA is hardware and operating system agnostic, allowing retailers to run the same software on any device, ultimately providing retail management software without limits.

“The retail industry is changing rapidly in response to evolving consumer behaviors and technological advancements,” said Stephan Mercier, founder and CTO.

“LOC is committed to ensuring retailers can keep pace by providing all the tools they need at the point of sale and in the back office to operate competitively. An essential capability is complete control of data for meaningful reporting and deep insights into operations and consumer activity. Cloud-based ThriVersA allows retailers to access that data and manage their businesses anywhere.”

Lapierre agreed, “Rebranding our software suite gives us the opportunity to tie our trusted legacy product to our next-gen version. Launching ThriVersA is a stepping stone to our next 35 years.”
