Imperial Dade, a Jersey City, New Jersey-based distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies, has announced the acquisition of Chino, California-based Atlantis Packaging.
The transaction is the 67th for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Chairman Robert Tillis and CEO Jason Tillis. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.
Owned and operated by Eric Rodriguez, Atlantis Packaging is a distributor of industrial products throughout Southern California and the U.S. Founded by Rodriguez’s father more than 50 years ago, the company operates with the same focus on customer service as it had when it began.
By using Imperial Dade’s platform, Atlantis customers across North America can expect the heightened customized service with a greater offering of products and solutions.

Founded in 1935, Imperial Dade serves more than 90,000 customers across North America. Since 2007, the company has grown organically and through acquisitions to become a leader in the foodservice, packaging and janitorial supplies industry.
